NTK Weekly Recap (July 23-29, 2023)

This week at No Time Killers, we delved into two significant topics: the debate between pursuing higher education or entrepreneurship and the importance of keyword research for micro-niche blogs.

Here’s a recap of what we discussed.

Should I Skip College And Focus On Being An Entrepreneur?

We explored the pros and cons of traditional higher education and the entrepreneurial route. Higher education offers career preparation, and networking opportunities, and acts as a safety net.

However, it comes with challenges such as high tuition costs, time commitment, and no guarantee of job placement.

On the other hand, entrepreneurship offers a dynamic learning experience, the potential for financial independence, and the ability to adapt swiftly to market trends.

It allows for flexibility in working hours and the freedom to choose projects that resonate with the individual. However, it also comes with its own set of risks and challenges.

We also discussed a hybrid approach, where one can balance college and business, citing examples of successful entrepreneurs like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg who started businesses while in college.

We emphasized that being an entrepreneur is not a detour from success but a different path that can lead to a fulfilling and prosperous life if approached with conviction and the right tools.

What Are Some Keywords To Use In A Micro Niche Blog?

We discussed the importance of keyword research for a micro-niche blog. We suggested using a mix of informational, buying guide, and product review keywords.

Informational keywords usually start with ‘how to,’ ‘why,’ or ‘what is.’ Buying guide keywords often involve terms like ‘best,’ ‘top,’ or ‘guide.’

Product review keywords typically include product names followed by ‘review,’ ‘comparison,’ or ‘rating.’

We emphasized the importance of keyword research for generating targeted traffic and curating valuable content.

We also highlighted the advantages of a well-researched keyword strategy, including higher SERP rankings, increased organic traffic, and enhanced reader engagement.

We provided guidance on how to find good niche keywords, using tools like Google Trends, Google Autocomplete, or Answer Socrates.

We also explained the three types of keywords in detail, providing examples and tips on how to generate them.

Wrap-Up

We concluded by reiterating the importance of keyword research for the success of any micro-niche blog and encouraged readers to start their keyword research and watch their micro-niche blog flourish.
