What is Jaaxy?

Jaaxy is a basic keyword and research tool designed for internet marketers. Although there’s an emphasis on affiliate marketing, it can be used for any type of online business.

Not only can you find keywords to rank for a website, but you can analyze your competition. For instance, it’ll allow you to “spy” on your competition and understand why other websites have higher rankings through search engines, including Google, Bing, Yahoo, and Duck Duck Go.

Also, you can look up domain names to invest in, which can be worth thousands (or sometimes millions) of dollars down the road. The tool can help you understand which domains have the potential for a good return on investment (ROI).

Let’s dive into how the tool works, and what you need to look out for when doing effective keyword research.

If you’re in a hurry

Here’s a list of the pros and cons of the keyword research tool. Along with that, here’s a brief video on how to use Jaaxy.

How To Do Keyword Research Tool With Jaaxy- An Amazing Keyword Tool

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? (for beginners)

If you’re all about simplicity and learning the foundations, Jaaxy is the best tool to master keyword research. Designed for beginners, Jaaxy opens the door to endless opportunities for ranking in Google. Let’s break down how Jaaxy works as a basic keyword research tool.

How do I use Jaaxy?

Once you sign up for an account, you get up to 30 keyword searches in a starter account. You can get more searches, which we’ll go over in the paid options later on.

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? A Jaaxy starter plan comes with 30 free keyword searches.

When you’re looking up phrases for potential keywords, you’re going to be presented with six categories. They include the following:

  1. Average

This one is the average number of searches that a keyword gets each month. Based on the search volume, a keyword can get a low volume or a high volume on a monthly basis.

  1. Traffic

These are the number of visits to your website if you achieve first-page rankings in the search engines (i.e. Google).

  1. QSR (Quoted Search Results)

QSR represents the number of competing websites that are ranked in Google for a particular keyword.

For example, if you type a keyword into the Google search bar (put it in quotes), it’ll show you the exact number of websites ranking for that keyword.

  1. KQI (Keyword Quality Indicator)

Based on three colors: If a keyword is green, the better chance of higher rankings in the search engines. If it’s red, it’ll be hard to rank that keyword on page one of Google.

  • Green = Great
  • Yellow = OK
  • Red = Poor

    5. SEO

SEO power is based on traffic and competition. The higher the score, the better chances for higher rankings.

    6. Domains

Domains that are available related to the keywords. They include .com, .org, and .net.

Let’s take a look at the following screenshot. Using the example of home security products, I’ll use the keyword “best home security devices”.

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? When a keyword is entered into Jaaxy, these are the following numbers I receive.

Once I type that keyword into Jaaxy, I get the following numbers. What I like about Jaaxy is it’s simple to look over, especially when you’re not overwhelmed with charts or graphs.

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? This graph presents three criteria to meet when it comes to finding the best keywords in Jaaxy.

Top three criteria for finding the best keywords

To get the best results on getting ranked at the top of Google, here are three things to keep in mind. These I consider to be the top three criteria for finding the best keywords.

1. The keyword needs to make grammatical sense

By saying it in a complete sentence, the keyword should be easy to understand. In the example of home security devices (keyword is wireless home security systems), it can be, “Are there any affordable wireless home security systems?

2. High search volume (typically over 100 search volumes per month)

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? A high search volume would be over 100 volumes per month, but it can be over 50 as well.

3. Low competition (i.e. low QSR under 100)

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? A low QSR under 100 is considered to be low competition, but under 50 is even better.

If we were to use the keyword, “affordable wireless home security systems”, the data taken from Jaaxy clearly shows it to be a great keyword.

Specifically for the QSR- if you type it in the search bar under quotes, it will show exactly how much websites are ranking. In that case, that’s considered to be your real competition.

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? This keyword shown meets all of the three criteria.

If you follow these three criteria, the better chances of getting ranked in the search engines. That’s basically how you use Jaaxy if you want to get the best results possible.

The best rule of thumb: Follow the 50/50 rule- Pick keywords that have over 50 search volume results, while under 50 QSR. This practice is the best for starting a website during its first year.

Top Features

Alphabet Soup

This one is an effective approach to doing keyword research. I find it very useful if I’m struggling to find the best keywords through Jaaxy.

Basically, you type in letters a-z in the search bar, and you end up getting a ton of keywords. There is an old-school approach to doing it through Google.

Here is an example using the phrase “carrot cake”. When I type it in through Google, I type in the letter “f” and get the following:

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? Using the alphabet soup technique via Google is the old-school approach for finding keywords.

Through Jaaxy, they have their own “Alphabet Soup” feature where you can find a ton of keyword opportunities. As I would through Google, I go down the ABCs before and after to get ideas.

If you struggle to do keyword research, I encourage you to try out this technique. If you need to find more keywords for your content creation, this technique is very good to use.

Related/Brainstorm section

This one is a neat section where you can get more keyword ideas. If you happen to run out of good keywords to pick, then definitely utilize this section.

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? The brainstorming section is another alternative to finding good keywords.

Site Rank

This one is one of my favorite sections, as you can keep track of your rankings. It will allow you to look up your rankings in Google, Bing, and Yahoo.

It can help to determine which posts are ranking, and figure out how your competition is doing. Are they ranking better than you are? If so, this feature can be great to analyze your competition a little further.

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? Any keyword listed in Site Rank can help you see where your post is positioned in the search engines.

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? Jaaxy has a saved listed section where you can keep all keywords for future reference.

What is the best keyword strategy for Jaaxy?

When it comes to finding awesome keywords, I like to shoot for “low-hanging fruit” ones. By that, I mean finding high search volume, and low competition keywords. It is a long-term strategy to acquire organic traffic not for today, but for years to come.

What are the benefits of using Jaaxy?

There are incredible benefits to using Jaaxy. With a paid plan, you get unlimited searches for looking up a lot of keywords. Along with that, it helps a lot with researching your competition.

Storage space for saving keywords

One area that I like using is the storage space for keyword lists. Especially when I’m doing research, I may find a ton of keywords that I’ll want to save for future content.

So if I end up finding a lot of them, I’ll save them to a list that I can come back to later. If you wanted to, there’s an option to export them into a separate spreadsheet (i.e. Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? Jaaxy has a saved listed section where you can keep all keywords for future reference.

Affiliate Program

Jaaxy offers an affiliate program if you create content about making money online or keyword research tools in general. It’s a great opportunity to earn income by spreading the word about Jaaxy.

Is Jaaxy the best keyword research tool? Jaaxy has a very good affiliate program, where the commissions are promising.

Who is Jaaxy best suited for?

Jaaxy is an excellent tool for beginners, especially for those with no prior knowledge in keyword research. Although it was designed for affiliate marketers, anyone in the internet marketing space can benefit from using Jaaxy.

Or even better, it’s great to just get started in an online business. If you’re all about simplicity and want the basics, Jaaxy meets those criteria.

Pricing

There are a few options when it comes to using Jaaxy. As mentioned earlier, there is a free starter plan; however, there is a search limit of just 30 keyword searches in total.

If you’d like to upgrade, they have two other options: Pro and Enterprise. The Pro plan starts at $49/month, while the Enterprise plan goes at $99/month.

Both plans are good, but my preference would be the Enterprise version.

I don’t say that because it costs more, but I believe that’s where it has the most value. Along with that, it’s much more time efficient when you can get a lot of keyword data in a matter of seconds.

How much does Jaaxy cost?

Jaaxy comes with a free starter plan. After that, Jaaxy has two paid options: The first one is Pro ($49/month) & Enterprise ($99/month).

My thoughts

I’ve used Jaaxy for over three years now. Since I started using it, I’ve had multiple posts rank on page one of Google.

It helps a lot to see how my competition is doing, and what I can do better when it comes to doing keyword research.

Although I like its simplicity, I noticed it does get buggy sometimes. For instance, their brainstorming (trends) section is not always accurate.

As of this writing (2023), the trends listed date back to five-six years prior. So something seems to be off with that, although that’s an area that will be updated at some point.

Also, I do find myself frustrated with not ranking for specific keywords. Especially if some of them meet the three criteria broken down earlier, I would think my chances for ranking would help.

But like any other keyword research tool, it’s not perfect. While most of the data presented can be helpful, some of it may not always be accurate.

Even though Jaaxy is not perfect, it’s still a helpful tool for doing keyword research. If you’re brand new to online business, Jaaxy can be a great starting point for keyword research.

If you’re more experienced and looking for something more advanced, Jaaxy may not be the best option for researching keywords.

With it being simple and a basic tool for keyword research, Jaaxy can help you find a lot of keywords to rank at the top of Google. As a user myself, I still use it regularly while doing my own research.

It’s a great tool overall, especially for those starting out in an online business. If you want to try it out for free, get going with a free starter plan today. If you’re satisfied with what you see and want to perform more keyword searches, consider upgrading.

  1. Great review of Jaaxy! I appreciate the detail you went into for explaining how the tool works, along with the pros and cons.

The point about it being simple to use and a good option for beginners is spot on. The data accuracy issue is something to consider, but overall a solid 8.5/10 rating.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Jaaxy!

    • Hi Alberto,

Yes, Jaaxy is a great tool to use for keyword research. There are a few key points to consider that I went over in the review.

Making grammatical sense, high search volume, and low QSR are the three biggest factors to leverage Jaaxy. If you understand how to use those criteria, you will find excellent keywords to use for your content.

The data accuracy problem is something I’m concerned with; however, I’m confident it’ll get fixed over time. So we’ll see what happens.

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts- I greatly appreciate them.

  3. I have been using Jaaxy for some years now, and I have to agree that it is one of the best keyword research tool out there.

However, I do feel like the site itself need to be updated along with the search results that need to be synchronized more frequently with the search engines.

But overall, it is my go-to tool for my business and thus far it has work for everything I’ve needed.

    • Hi Stephanie,

Although Jaaxy has its little issues from time to time, it’s still a great keyword research tool to use.

By going through the training at Wealthy Affiliate, I think it makes a lot more sense when you get the basics down.

I’m glad to know that you’re making the most out of Jaaxy. Why not have a more simpler keyword research tool that gives you what you need right now?

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts- they’re greatly appreciated.
